Milwaukee Musaik - Wind Quintet

  • Wisconsin Conservatory of Music 1584 North Prospect Avenue Milwaukee, WI, 53202 United States (map)

Performance of Wind Quintet by Milwaukee Musaik.

Join us for a quirky mix of works all with a thematic connection to time. From Scott Joplin's distinctive Ragtime music to John Cage's iconic work 4’33” where the sounds of the room become the music, it’s sure to be a fun and invigorating concert. Rounding out the program is Haydn’s “Clock” Symphony, a delightful collection of fiddle tunes in Mark O’Connor’s “Old Time” string quartet, and Robert Paterson’s Wind Quintet, which draws inspiration from the Dali painting the "Persistence of Memory."
