7:00 PM World premiere of Elegy for 2 bassoons and piano. This work was commissioned by Charles McCracken and Gordon Harris through the American Composers Forum.

The program will include two other 20th century works, a transcription of Debutante by Herbert L. Clarke and the rarely heard Sonata for Bassoon and Piano by Alvin Etler, as well as Baroque works by Zelenka and Corrette. Charles will be joined by Gilbert Dejean, bassoon and Elizabeth DiFelice, piano. Gilbert and Charles are both members of the American Symphony Orchestra's bassoon section.
